I am looking for a diesel compression tester to be used on my MH Continental engine. I guess it requires a special adapter for this engine. Does anyone have such an adapter or found a kit that will work with this engine? Thanks.

Did you check the kit sold by harbor freight? For $149 you can get every adapter under the sun including odd ball engines such as Puegots(sp?) etc.

Before you spend money for a diesel compression tester why not do a cylinder leak down test/ Why do you want to do the compression test.

I am curious to see what kind of compression this old engine still has and if the reading is the same on all of the cylinders. If it's off, then I will do the leak down test. Thanks for the replys.

I don't know what kind of injectors your engine has but if you can't find a suitable adapter I've had good luck making them out of old injectors. It usually takes a little time and machine work to get them fixed where you can hook your tester to them but it's at least an option if you don't find anything else. Good luck.
