I bought a 1985/2500 2 wheel drive Sub at a police auction a few weeks. It was a rescue vehicle. The engine only had 61 thou on it. It starts and runs like a new one! I am looking for several parts,(would prefer a whole vehicle in fair shape for parts) So, Anyone in the Tennessee area, please contact me at [email protected] or visit Ivoryangels.com.

Also I am trying to figure on the body style of an 85 suburban, what is the year span on that body type? When did that body style start and end??

There's a company called LMC that has every part you can want for Suburbans.

Butch, The main body (not frontend) spans from 1973 to 1990. The frontend was changed in 1980 and that basic front was kept till the complete redesign in 1991.
I am in Central Texas, I have a 87 that is as straight as a pin, it only need tranny work. Email me if you would like and we can visit about it.
Later,
John A.

The new Sub came out in 1992, so even the 1991's are still the same.
