I usually buy from HF and never bout anything from homier. I'm wondering if they sell pretty much the same tools just relabeled? Do they hold up about the same?

I bought a 3/4" drive socket set from them at a farm fair over twenty years ago. Paid $21 for the entire twenty-one piece set, including a huge ratchet and breaker bar. I use it to this day, Money well spent.

Rod M1: Homier is one of the companies that does the "travelling tool shows", and 90% of their stuff is the exact same China-made stuff as Harbor Freight sells. For that matter, Grizzly, Cummins, Northern Tool, Enco, and several other places sell the exact same stuff as well. Some is good, some is adequate, and some is junk--you pays your money and takes your chance. I have used and abused a Homier 4-inch grinder for nearly 10 years now with no problems, but a buddy bought the exact same one from another company and it didn"t last 10 minutes (literally). Still, I"ve got a lot of the China-made stuff, and on the whole have been very satisfied, particularly considering the price paid. For things that I"m only going to use occasionally, it allows me to have capabilities that I normally would not be able to have.

Looks like you found their address. I"ve had MUCH better luck with Cummins than most of the mail-order places. The stuff is the same, but they do the "travelling tool shows" so I usually see them a couple times a year in person. Got to gabbing with one of the sales guys a couple of years ago and was very impressed by how much training they had to go through before they turned them loose on customers. Not saying every one is a tool genius, but most of them are better informed about their products (and honest about the tool"s capabilities for that matter) than is usual for tool salespeople.

I definitely agree about the cummins guys being honest.
I was at one of their travelling shows last year,
and there was a set of steak knives, 12 for $1.
so i bought them, we don"t live where we farm so it is nice to have a cheap set of silverware on hand for eating,
and the guy told me the knife blades had a lifetime guarantee,
this shocked me.
he then clarified it by saying that "the blades will never dull because the knife will break long before the blade dulls."
he was right.
but you can"t beat 12 for $1.

tools there are decent too, especially if you just need something for occasional use and don"t want to break the bank on it.

Both Cummins and Homier come to my area in East Wi and have bought numerous "bargains" Good thing about HOmier, I found, take your broken item back to them when they come back around and they make good on your purchase.

HF is pretty good about exchanging or refunding these days. Since we have 2 HF stores in the area, we don't see much of the traveling shows.
