Poulan 3800 Gas Cap

The gas cap on my Poulan 3800 Timbermaster is stripped. When I try to tighten the cap beyond just slightly finger tight, is slips to the next thread. Poulan can't help because of the age of this great running saw. Anyone know what cap will fit the tank?

cap for Poulan 3400 should fit it.
