Could someone suggest a good web site for old special purpose hatchet? Brand is stamped, worn but appears to be a circle with 3 cherries.

Thanks

Led

Haven"t "hung around" the site I"m refering you to too much - I used to be a cabinet maker (30 years ago!) but had to go to other things to make a living in my area, but someone here should be able to point you in the right direction - Link

Also you might try www.woodworking.com They have a site that lends itself to asking questions and I just bet that someone will know about the three cherries on your hatchet.

When you do find out let inquiring minds know the answer.

My thoughts are that this may be a G. B. Hirsh brand out of Germany. This company makes wood carving tools that have the cherry logo. Hope this helps some.
