Does anyone out there know if there is a kit or something for your computer that you could use to make decals for engines and such.

I bought some vinal stick on paper from Staples a couple years ago and made some stickers with my inkjet printer. Put one on the window on my truck and it lasted good for 2 years. Starting to look bad now. I think printing from a laser printer would last better because of the way laser printing works.

I agree with rustyfarmall, why bother to spend all that money for a few decals for your machine, you can find them on ebay and other sights. There are also companies out there reproducing vintage tracker decals. Picked up a set for my H3 loader and they looked great.

I have heard but not seen that hobby supply stores have sticky-backed 8 1/2 by 11 sheets that you can feed through an ink jet printer to make your own small decals.

Look on ebay for "vinyl cutter". You'll see machines, software, ready-to-go clip art, and the actual vinyl.

There are machines that make decals.. They are really small table-top routers that use a blade instead of a cutting bit. They cut logos from vinyl sheets. A friend of mine has a business thet makes & applies logos to trucks, trailers, police cars, etc.....

Yes there is, but unless you are going into the professional sign making business you probably do not want to spend the money. Very pricey.
