O.T. axle castle nut...where to find one

I have a 3500lb axle on my trailer that has a destroyed axle nut. Anyone know where to buy such and item? It dosnt seem to come with bearing kits. Any help would be much appreciated.

Could you make one yourself? what is the pitch diameter? what is the overall diameter? is it hardened steel?

Try Tractor Supply Store or NAPA ---check if it is right or left and take a good one with you..... ..... .

Every car parts store has such nuts for front spindles (or rear) on cars and trucks.

Then there's Shoup and Baum Hydraulics that sell hubs and pieces and places that fix trailers, both RV and horse trailers.

Then there's McMaster-Carr and fastener speciality shops like Fastenal and Hockel Supply.

Gerald's right; can't imagine a parts house not having a supply in different sizes; especially if it's an independent/locally owned store..... ..
