OK here is my situation

Just bought a used small Century wire welder. Model 117-050-998.

No book. Google search didn't come up with any thing that directed me to a century website for welders. Now the question.

Does anyone out there have a link where I could download a manual for this welder?

I know this isn't the best wire welder in the world but I bought it cheap ($75) thought it would be a good way to get into sheet metal repair. I have a Lincoln tombstone for structural welding.

TIA

jt

Didn't look at answers but I have the same and got a pdf manual I can send you. Lincoln took over and got the file from them couple years ago. I like mine and use it alot on cars but use it with gas.

Let me know if you would like this file and good luck. I've used the devil outa mine for almost 5 years now and it just keeps on getting up and on.

I have a Century 80, but the model number just says 117. No manual, sorry. But I can say this welder has seen quite a bit of use with no problem at all. On the high setting it welds angle-iron just fine. I'd say it's well worth the seventy-five dollars you paid for it, just because it's so handy. I haven't busted out the big welder since I started using this one.

I read this relpy to a similar question at the Farm Industry News site.
I'm not sure if it is true or not, but its worth a try.

Century Welder manuals are available by calling 866/236-0044, ext. 3. Century is a division of Lincoln Electric.
