I've had one for two years. Sure beats a hacksaw or Sawzall. Was on sale for $150. Still on sale occasionaly. The new ones have no blade adjustment other than the roller guides. I made several modifications and additions to mine. When I figure out how to post pictures, I'll put them on here. Be sure they still take standard blades: the portable saw uses HF only blades.

I've got a "Clarke" brand (brand is meaningless on these--they're all essentially the same) 4 x 6 saw from TSC about a year ago. It's been an excellent addition to my garage and has really cut the time and effort required to fabricate things. Like most of the China-made stuff, if you expect it to be perfect out of the box, you're going to be disappointed, but if you're willing to do a bit of tweaking it's a very good use of $200. The link below is another review of the saw from mini-lathe.com, with some modifications that the owner made to his saw.

I got the 4X6 saw about two months ago and like it a lot. Think mine was cheaper than $199 but I drove to their store to buy it. It took a little adjustment to get it right but has worked well so far. I'm satisfied.
