Air Filter/Regulator Unit, lot# 1118, lists for $39.99. On sale for $24.99. Any good? I currently have my compressor set at 160# and have no regulator for painting or sanders, etc.

If its that goofy blue thing with the pipe feeding out the side, don"t waste your money. Mine leaks constantly and its design will never allow you to fix. I have a HF mini air filter on the line to dry air for my plasma cutter. 9.99 and I see water condensation in there and cutter works well.

I've got 2 of the goofy-looking blue ones. One on my breathing air side and one for painting. Never had a lick of trouble with either one. They will also handle a LARGE airflow. The unusual design is because they are a chineese copy of a much more expensive one made by Sharpe.

I had one of those that leaked terribly, so I exchanged it for another. This one doesn't leak as bad, but still, it does leak.

Any suggestions how to fix it so it doesn't?
