Ok. Now that you've had the surgery and are recovering, I'm sure that there are some things that you're physicians want you to do, and probably are some medications that you're supposed to be taking. I've got to think that you're prognosis has been upgraded, given what outcome may've been projected prior to the surgery, for post (after) procedure. I've got to think that your prognosis has changed to an upgraded status - you're doing better than perhaps expected, already. That's a good thing Larry. A very good thing. You need to follow your physicians directives to the letter. You need to do what they tell you to do, when they tell you to do it. I don't need to tell you that you've been through a major ordeal, you know it, you've been through it. A lot of your recovery is going to be mental as well as physical. The physicians can cover the physical part, YOU have to cover the mental frame of mind. There are going to be times when you're going to be tempted to get ahead of yourself, and it's not uncommon that there are times of minor depression because you may or will be tempted to do things that you won't be allowed to as soon as you'd like but in time... You just went through a major procedure, it's going to take time, it's expected. Frame of mind can't be measured, but it affects the healing process. You MAINTAIN a positive outlook, let the sawbones handle the physical aspects. I've got to think that the predictions by your physician have improved and will continue to do so, therefore I'm expecting a successful recovery. Maybe one day you'll play tennis, maybe you won't - your choice. At a minimum, I do expect that one day you'll come across someone playing tennis, and you'll walk up and ask to see their racket and a ball for a second, then belt one over the fence into the grass, hand them back their racket and a couple of bucks for the ball, then just simply walk away for no other reason than you'll be able to. You make me that deal Larry. Stupid little things makeup one's mindset and mean the world in ways that some may never understand. Mark
