off kilter a little from tractors....chainsaw

I have an old silver king chainsaw. it has a tillotson carb on it and i can't find for the life of me a carb kit. its an HP 12A. THis chainsaw is prolly in the 1950's or 1960's. anyone got any suggestions?..... .its a neat saw and has been stored for 20+years...any help or even any direction to who to contact that may have a carb kit for a deal like tis would be appreciated. anyone know of any chainsaw forums? thanks alot.

That's good to know. Old Harleys (45 inch W series) used to come with them on some scooters. Obvisouly not the same ones, same manufacturer though. But for them old Hogs, can still find them through Drag Specialties, V-Twin, and a few other places, which means they've got an inside for Tillotson.

Puller,

The below URL (website address)has plenty of info on chain saws and also has a good exploded view and parts list for your carb. Couldn't find any parts sources on the pages, but you might try posting a message on the forum on that site.

I get my chainsaw parts from NAPA but I don't know if they have the parts for the model you have.
