I have a small 4 wheeler gas tank with pin holes I wish to try to weld with J.B. Weld. Will this do the job, and stay fixed after gasoline is put back in tank, I would really appreciate any input Thanks Dan

I have repaired several tanks with a product called KREEM, first you need to clean with asid, avaiable in a kit at autosuppliers

Good suggestion! I used this in my 32' chevy gas tank with flawless results.

My honda 350 4x4 had a hole in the bottom,I used
a ribbon gas tank epoxy one part was yellow & the
other blue.It came from walmart or kmart I cant
remember now you tore off what you needed and mixed it like modeling clay then pressed it on the
hole.It had a slow leak for a while then stopped.

Hi Dan, JB Weld is nothing more than an epoxy. With several pin holes your metal is just about shot. You could use the old tank as a form and cover it with fiberglass and epoxy rated for gasoline, then use another thin liquid epoxy on the inside to cure the rust problem.
