You can pick them up for anywhere from $120 to $200. I bought one at a store closeout 2-3 years ago for $40. Great investment. Sure beats the old "hoe-and-wheelbarrow" thing. I can mix 10 time faster with the mixer and don't have to scrape back and forth all day - and I'm not near as tired when I'm done.

I had one, 2.5 cu ft as I recall. In short, I sold it in favor of the old fasion way; the wheelbarrow. Found that I could do a better, faster job, with a lot less hassle.

Just my 2c.

'Tis the season, I guess.

The one in the picture I bought for $150 CDN with motor and thought it an excellent buy. Another at an auction went for $200 and it was in much poorer condition.

Are you talking about a mortar mixer or concrete mixer? Maybe some cross-utilization, but generally two different animals..... ...
