Once had to replace a 25 pair phone cable for some old 1A2 equipment at an asylem that some racoons had chewed through. Well, used armored PIC (thich black coat) this time, and had to crawl on my belly the length of the crawl space under that long building wing with the racoon(s) down there. Only saw one pirched up on some water pipes, and it didn't bother me, and I didn't bother it, and if it'd been mad, I'd been in trouble cause wasn't much room to move around. So, I dragged this cable the length of the building and shoved about 20' up through a hole I drilled through the concrete floor, and I crawled tie-wrapping that cable out past that racoon looking at me, me looking at it. WOW, made it - not exactly. When I got upstairs to terminate my cable, there was my 1/2' hole drilled through the floor, but no cable. What the heck happened to my 20' of cable that should be sticking up through the floor???? There were two male residents (nuts) standing there, and one comes over to me and says "Mikey's (the other guy) afraid of snakes, but I'm not and shoved him back down his hole". I had to go get a nurse to lock up Mikey and his pal, then had to go back down there with that racoon to shove my cable (snake) back up the hole. Honest to God it happened. Happy Easter, Mark
