I bought a Hitachi 14.4v cordless drill yesterday. It is 100% better performance then my Black&Decker 12v. There must be a significant difference in the insides since I can"t see 20% more power accounting for the huge diference in performance.

I also looked at some Crescent hammers on sale for $9.97. I looked at the heads and they were marked "Made in CHina". I was hoping that Crescent would still be USA made, but no luck. At least Vaughn is still domestic.

My Hitachi 18v is the best drill I've had.
