Hello,
My father has a Craftsman tool that no one knows what it's for.

It's in a box, has (2) punch like shafts that accept various size socket like collars. These collars snap onto the shaft just like a socket would onto a ratchet. Each collar has (2) sizes, i.e. 9/16-5/8 just flip the collar over to change size. I think there 10 collars with 2 sizes on each. The shafts are approximately 7" lg. and have a knurled area like a ratch handle might. One shaft is for the smaller collars and one for the larger set of collars. All the pieces are marked =CRAFTSMAN= but there are no model numbers included.

We think they're for pressing or driving bushings or bearings into holes or something like that. Anyone know this tool is for????

Thanks for the help.

Go to the link and scroll down to the "bushing installer" set. Sounds like that's what you're talking about.

Sounds like a set of seal removers or installation tools. I have a similar set made by CR (chicago rawhide) oil seal company.

MAC, I attempted to find your tool on-line to look at and see if similar. I wasn"t able to find an example.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
