wait for him to land, then take an all purpose sprayer and get him wet, (bats can"t fly when wet), then put on some leather gloves and take him outside and let him go. I usually take mine over to the MIL"s(hehehe)

I've used a really thick bath towel. Also a really quick cat works well, but it is easier to get the bat out of the towel them the cats mouth!

Was a movie I saw once where Dan Akroyd and John Candy took the families camping. Think was called "The Great Outdoors", or something like that. If I were you, I'd rent and watch it. They had kind've the same problem and worked it out pretty good.

We get bats in the house once in a while. They seem to poop out pretty quickly. Once they land and stay still, I use a waste backet and a piece of cardboard to trap them. Mary is no help, hiding under the covers.

It is best to block up their holes in the winter when they all have migrated down south.

Don't know where you are but most are endangered so becareful. Most states will send out a conservation agent to help you catch it and put it where it should be.

They'd be endangered all right if they got into my house. lol.

Where's Venus Williams with a tennis racket when you need her? Bat go splat!

Hm, could you just leave the Batmobile parked in the doorway with the door slightly adjar? Okay, okay, not funny, but I couldn't resist after the bat man statement.

None of what you said is funny! Bats are very good to have around very much better then the bugs we would have if it wasn"t for them and the fact they eat up to 10 times there body weight in bugs every night in the summer

I do indeed know their value WHEN OUTSIDE, but not when inside.

Hi mike,

I too would wait until he tires then use a fishing net with a 4ft handle.

I woud also wear leather gloves as he won't be in a good mood after being caught and getting untangled from the netting.

Just keep it flyen around till it gets tired and catch it in a box and take it out side but ya better find out where it got in because it will fly around the yard and then make a bee line right back in .The one nice old neighbor that i had got one in there house one evening and you could see this thing going round and round in there dining room she came over and asked my wife if i would come over and get this bat out now i never clamed in being BAT MAN but the chase was on me with a broom chassen this bat this older woman 's daughter was tryen to help every time the bat would head her way it looked like she was ducken from incomming I finaly got the bat into the curtains and into a shoebox took it outside and set the box on the picnic table and opened up the lid the poor bat was scarred to death but finaly took off and made three big circles around the yard and wright back to the house and his hole and was back flyen around the fan in the dinning room i caught that bat about a dozen times before we found his hole and pluged.
