Portable welder value?

I have a old portable welder it is General Electric with a 4cyl. hercules IXB3 gas engine it is on trailer.I was wondering what a fair price to ask for it has been in a shed has not been started for about 2 years. Thank you

Hi Earl,

There's been a few reports on this form of Linclon SA200 machines that sell for around $1000 in some areas. Here there more expensive.

You would need to underprice according to compete with the SA200 machines.

I'm not saying theres anything wrong with a GE machine, just that a weldor if they have a choice will choose the SA200 as it carrys a well deserved reputation where the GE never made it "big" in welding machines brand names in the past 40yrs.

I gave $300 for a good running IXB3 engine and don't have regrets.
