Never thought I would get so excited about sand coming out the end of a hose. Finally got my Harbor Freight blaster to work. Thanks to you guys that answered my questions as those posed by Tweeter recently.

Carol Martin, in particular you were very helpful. It works!!!! Hope I can help you guys someday. Always seems like there are some really nice people at antiquetractors.com.

Hi: I have had a problem with My HF sandblaster that once in a while. The lower valve will get clogged with moist sand (like mud) not sure why the sand is not damp at all and filters are empty on the compressor.. Was a real pain to take the hose off and clean out that valve.. so On the bottom manifold assy I Drilled a hole down thru where it screws onto the valve and threaded it to take a 5/16 bolt and just made a little 5/16 plug to put in it.. Now all I have to do is remove the plug and run a 1/4 drill bit up into the valve by hand to clean it out saves a lot of aggrivation..

Carol, you were a real help with this. Mine is working just right thanks to you! The sequence of turning on the valves did the trick! Thanks.
