I'm looking for some plans to make a gravity flow grain cleaner. Ones I've seen pictures of run the grain in a zig-zag pattern over some screens. Anyone know where I might find info on one? Thanks.

It seems like the design would be pretty straight forward. The hard part would be getting the screens.

Have you seen a book titled "Farm Machinery and Equipment" by Harris Smith ? There were several editions published, the one I have is from 1948. It came from abebooksdotcom. The book shows several types of seed cleaners, but most of the screen type are a version of a fanning mill.
