I have used a straight die grinder with good results for several different applications. I have not used a right angle die grinder. I am looking @ buying one in the near future and interested in buying the most versatile grinder for general use. Question being, if given the choice, which one to buy? I do realize both have there advantages but which is best overall?? Thanks!!!!! !!TPat

For quality, get a Souix or a Dotco, but be prepared for sticker shock.

Get one with a plastic or rubber jacket made onto the housing, they get verrry cold in your hand.

Cheap ones consume more air, but are much cheaper than the top of the line ones.
