Loose Carburator on Poulan Chain Saw

I have had to retighten the Manifold screws that hold the Carb on the engine of my Poulan 375 chain saw. This has happened on more than 1 occasion. Would "LOCTITE" be indicated here? Is there something else that would work better?

Poulan and Craftsman is the same machine. I had a leaf blower that had the same problem with the carb. The manifold is a plastic type material. Locktite did not work well. After a short period of time the carb would loosen from the manifold. The problem is Poulan uses self tapping screws into the plastic type manifold. The only solution I found was to make metal threaded inserts in the plastic and use machine screws.

Blue Loctite should work... Loose carb on 2-stroke is risking a fried Piston/bore due to lean fuel mixture...
