what is the name of the tool that you splice wide flat belting togeather with? It looks like a vice and presses the staples in the belt ot hook it to gether, thanks in advance

It is called a lacer and depending what you are gonna do with it it the kind you will want. Check with Hit N Miss enterprises is you want one for gas engine or tractor belting
