Depends on what kind of use it is going to get. If you are going to sharpen 10-20 chains a year, it will probably do for you, if you are doing quite a bit of cutting, I would stay away from it! We have an Oregon we use, sharpen well over 500 chains a year with it and we have had it for 8 years and the only thing we have replaced is the feeder pawl and grinding wheels.

Bought a new Oregan two months ago, $275, lots better made than the cheapos. jmo

I bought one this time last year and it works good for me.I sharpen maybe 3 chains per month on average. You can tell it ain't an Oregon but with a tender touch it works well. It is all Plastic though and the chain holder vise is kind lightweight and different to use.

dont know,,but bought a oregon chain grinder for 200 8 yearsago and its still as good as the day i got it.. lucass
