For the 8 and 10 horse Tecumseh Engines. These are the type for Troy tillers and generator sets. Good size log splitters and some lawn tractors. When I put them away for winter I drain the gas and start them up with just a smidge leftin the tank. Let them get hot and runem dry. Them I put in a little oil gas mix for the saws that has stabizer in it. I use Echo or Sthil, and Run it again till hot and just as it statrs to die choke the #@#$&*& out of it. This will suck all of the gas out of the carb and coats internals with oil for the long winter. Now for why I sent the post. Found out the they are making a part again for these carbs. This is the aluminiun bowl the goes on the bottom of the carb. It has the little push and drain valve for water. They run about $10.oo and are very nice to check out your carb to see if any water got in. Remember the shallow end of the bowl goes under where the float pivots. Works GREAT! jeffcat
PS guess you would like the part number? 631951 and is made in the CZECH REP
