Most all clutch drivers you will find at parts yards will aready be the same as yours. you have two options, take your crank and clutch driver to a machine shop and have your crank built up to the size of your driver. There are places that can build up drivers for you. You can also take alumium pop cans and cut shims about onehalf in. wide and 2 in. long with a L on the end. Push these between the crank and driver, put washer and bolt on.It does work and last for a long time.Bill .. Hopes that helps!

For a part that rotates and has a lot pf pressure applied to it, I would get a replacement. If your dealer is no help, look at the Green Magazine want ads or classifieds and you will find what you need. >Link
Also>Link try posting this to the John Deere forum.

Hi Mike, Thanks for explaining as I never worked on a JD. I would think it would be cheaper to replace the part than repair it as it will have to be surfaced both sides when your done welding. If the part is expensive then you have nothing to loose but right off the top of my head, I don't think it will weld worth a darn. Alot of built up stress on the surfaces.

What you might do is call a clutch rebuilder and see what they offer.

Hi Mike, May I suggest a jig to hold the plate while you weld it. I don't know how much welding needs to be done but in any case thats what I'd do as warp would be a concern.

yess t bone i will jig it but it has to be able to be preheated as well to 400F as i dont think taking it of to put in sand to cool will be quite the thing also i need to weld both sides so i may have to go at it twice thanks mike
