My wife is giving me static about the back up lights not working on her Cavalier. The book says the switch is located on the upper side of the transaxel, drivers side. This must be the location for an automatic. She has a five speed, and there is no switch in that location. Anyone familiar with the switch location on these things? I am reluctant to take it to the dealer, as my son bought the same car, different color and took it in yesterday for the heater motor blowing intermittentaly, ahd his bill was over $300.00. For these prices I can buy her "night vision glasses".

Well if she wants them that bad go to radio shack and get a toggle switch and wire it in to turn them on and off. The switch will be in one of two places in/on the tranny or in the shifter. Those cars are hard to work on to much under the hood and not enough hood lol
