John,
on a PB200, that is an older one. Now, I will add a couple of things to check. Go to auto zone (or some auto parts store that rents tools) and rent a compression tester, check compression, if it is not a minimum on 90#, that is part of the problem. The fuel line is the one that goes from tank to carb, replace it after you do a compression test and compression is good. check your plug and make sure you have good fire, if not, you also need to check that. Depending on serial number, the early ones had points, later ones were electronic. If this cheecks out OK, then prodeed to the carb rebuild, being it is older than I had pictured( yes, I assumed) The carb diaphrams are probably as hard as cardboard, so it is not pumping fuel. Put a new plug in with some fresh fuel and it should run like great after this. Unfortunalty round here is central IL. The

John,
Since its an older unit I'd say its due for a carb rebuild. The diaphragms in the carb get stiff and don't pump fuel as well. I'd do that as well as put a new fuel line and filter on it. It probably has points, condenser so make sure to check or replace them too. They'll be in behind the recoil you'll have to pull the flywheel to get to them. Or better yet get an electronic ignition like an Atom and just cut the points wire to the coil and splice it in. If you need more help shoot me an email.
