All my life I had to buy second rate tools cause I didn't have the money to do otherwise.

Last week I was in the orange store and noticed they had drills on sale. I looked at 2 drills and came home with a Rigid brand. Draws like 6 amperes where all my other drills only drew 2 to 3. Has a real nice Jacobs chuck with a super locking mechanism so the bit doesn't slip.

Well this weekend, I had to put a new threshold under the back door and it took 3 anchor screws.

Got out the old concrete bit and said something like this isn't going to work; never has.

Put the Rigid to the task and I couldn't believe my eyes. I drilled 3 5/16 holes about 1" deep in seasoned concrete in less than 5 minutes. Had to get a tin of water to keep the bit cooled off.

WHADDA DEAL. Nice to have the kids outta the house so's you can buy some real boy's toys.

Yep. I have a Rigid angle grinder. It is one tough heavy duty tool. I am very happy with their products.

Milwaulkee and DeWalt make some good heavy duty drills too. I don't think anything will ever beat my old Black and Decker 5/8". It almost needs 2 people to operate safely.
