I live around Albany N.Y. We used to have the
John Tilley Ladder Co. in Watervliet N.Y, where one could buy rungs to fix your ladder if the rails were good. They closed last year. anybody
know of where one can still buy rungs singly to
fix a good ladder??? thank you for any ideas

Wood or aluminum ladder?

A few years ago, we melted the top rung on one of our aluminum fire department ladders. I belive it is an Alco-lite ladder. We bought the rung from them, and they even loaned us the tool needed to replace the rung.

They have replacement parts listed on their website: www.fireladder.com

I admire you for wanting to fix it properly. Many people would do a half-a$$ job of fixing it, then wonder why they end up laying on the ground because their "fix" failed.
