even tho you run out the gas there is still some in the fuel bowl. i think if yotake off the fuel bowl and wash it out,and clean the passage in the bowl nut it should help. the thing to do is to treat your gas with stabil and keep the take full during storage,,yoknow to keep the air out of the tank..lucass

I have a Toro snow blower that wont start. I think it needs a new Magneto with spark plug wire. Toro 526 ; 5 HP; Ser # 31626101930; Serial # 013516901. It Has a Decumseh engine.

It's hunting...carb needs cleaning. Forget "boil" it out..all that is is a carb soak. You could take it apart and spray out the low speed and high speed circuit but before you do, go to Walmart and get some B-12 liquid and run it through with the gas.. You have a bit of varnish in some little hole. While you're at it, get some B-12 spray and be prepared to take the carb apart if the fuel/b-12 doesn't work.

In the future, mix some Stabil into the fuel, fill up the tank and run it till the carb runs dry.
