I bought a Henrob torch last week to replace my old cheesy torch (taiwanese I think). I have never seen the cutting torch work worth a hoot and decided to either buy a GOOD normal torch or the Henrob. I decided to go with the Henrob.I'm impressed with the quality of the unit. My first test was cutting some 3/8" angle iron. It worked very well my first time, although my line was not very straight. This is clearly a technique-driven tool. However, I was able to quickly do some cutting on my first try, and I never got satisfactory results with my previous rig. So far, one drawback I see is that you need to have the oxygen head follow the acetylene head as you progress along the cut. This means that moving the torch sideways won't work very well, and reverse direction wont work at all. This could make cutting holes awkward. I like that it runs on much lower pressure gas, and uses significantly less gas. I plan to try some welding with it soon, and I'l report on that. But basically, so far I like it. I bought mine from the link below. No affiliation, btw.
