Does anyone know where I can get the parts for a Gott Gas Can? I need the fill spout, 5 years ago that is all you could buy anywhere, now you can't find them at all. All there is are Blitz, which I don't care for as it takes forever for it to empty. Thanks

With the new overflow/spill regulations most companies are now only producing the type with the internal vent or the vavle that has to be held open. They are a pain if filling a large tank.

I see spout kits in hardware stores from time to time, with universal spout and 2-3 asst cap rings.Don't know about Gott, but there are kits for plastic or metal cans.

Used to be from Eagle, it cost as much for the spout as it does for the gas can, so do not order or buy without checking prices first, unless you really like your can.

Have you tried . . . in reply to Rich Davis, 11-20-2004 15:21:37
Rich --

Rubbermaid bought Gott and over a period of a few years the Gott name was dropped. If a new nozzle for a Gott gas can is available today, it would almost certainly be wearing a Rubbermaid badge.

I'd suggest checking the Rubbermaid website, even if there's nothing specific about parts for the ex-Gott products, there should be a Customer Service telephone number or E-mail address.
