I have a 16 pc. set. I just love it. They seem to cut faster than a normal bit and the cut shanks keep it from spinning in the chuck. Go for it.

I've used them. They're great for getting larger holes started in sheet steel but I don't see the advantage for smaller sizes or deeper holes. Maybe there's something I'm missing. Also, after about 30 or so holes, they were noticably dull, granted it was a production situation and aggressive feed rates were used. Seems like an expensive proposition keeping them sharp. Not gonna do it on the old bench grinder.
