OT GROUND FAULT PLUG IN

Have a wire running from a pole where the electrical box is located to a ground fault plug in. I want to splice into the wire before it gets to the ground fault plug and run another plug in. Was wondering if that would disrupt the ground fault plug in that is first in line.

The GFCI can be the first or last or anywhere inbetween of a circuit. The only receptacles that will be Ground Fault protected are the GFCI and all recpts on the LOAD terminal of the GFCI.
Just route the power source line to the new recpt and continue to the line side of the GFCI. As long as you follow code and safety requirements, it will work fine.
