Sears no longer sells this switch, part# 1-616982-01 for model# 31511490 1/2" drill motor.

If anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know.

Thanks,
Robert

You might try a different Sears Repair Center. My father gave me a battery charger in 1992 because the parts for it were "obsolete" according to the Sears Repair Facility that he was dealing with. I went to another Sears Repair Center in the city that I was stationed at, and they were able to get me a new switch. NOT the same switch, but the one that was a replacement for the one that was "obsolete." Was able to keep a good battery charger from going to the scrap pile. His battery charger quit on him, and I gave it back to him. Last time at the farm, I used it. Just a thought that you may give a try on.

later days mate,
Jim

According to numbers, that 315 prefix was made by ryobi for sears. So you might start there. Also a good elec shop can probably get this or cross ref it to one that will work. Also you might check lowes or Ace, seems they have bins that contain swx's for various tools.
