I have a old 50's model Kellog air compressor, model # B321 Bo, Serial # B242584. It is approx. an 80 gallon compressor, and has a 1 1/2 hp. Leland motor that turns 1725 rpm. I am looking for parts for the compressor unit, specificly (reed valves). Can anyone help me ?

Go to your nearest compressor shop and ask them to order a head overhaul kit for a Kellogg 321 from ICC (Independent Components Corp) in New York. Or, you could ring these guys, depending on where you are.

I wondered what happened to you. Glad your back.
Another good source for Kellogg is an outfit in Nashville Tn. Don't recall their name but a search for kellogg brings them up on first page.

My father worked at Kellogg-American for 33 years. He was the last employee to be laid off when they closed the plant and moved out of state in 1983.

I have an old 321 and a 335. I"m using the 321, but I was thinking about selling the 335. It has an extra piston, gaskets, and a few other extra parts. Any ideas on how much would be a fair price?

They were very good pumps. Depending on condition, I'd say they'd be worth a few hundred dollars at least. Don't know what they were worth new, but probably over $1000. CompAir has dropped all the Kellogg cast-iron recips. Looks like more Kellogg workers have hit the unemployment line since your dad did. CompAir now sells just German recips, Mahle I think, and a crap aluminum pump from Italy made by Balma.

Hi Larry, just been lurking for awhile. Someone has reserved my name, so I guess I'll have to come up with a new handle. Probably not this one though, a bit too much typing!
