I looking at buying a lift for my cars and pick-up truck. I want swing out arms and high enought to park another car under it. What is a good brand to buy. Thanks

I have a Mohawk lift 9000# Tomahawk total hydraulic no cables or chains anywhere. I would reccomend checking them out. They are built in the USA and are very heavily built. They are also very user friendly and if the slide blocks ever need replaced you can do it yourself.Check them out At Mohawklifts.com

There are lots of them out there now so I can't suggest a brand but here are some thoughts. Get a 9000lb to 12000lb they are not much more $$ and you'll be glad for the extra cap. Get assymetrical lift arms, this lets you get the door open farther after driving onto the lift. Consider if you want an open top or clear floor type, they all have cables or chains running from side to side. Open top is better for tall vehicles and the clear floor type is better for working under as there is nothing to get in the way of jacks or support stands etc. One last thought, if you're thinking used, check prices on any parts,chains cables etc, needed as they can add up to more than a new unit. I work a lot with " Mohawk' and "Rotary" above ground lifts lifts. Both are of HIGH quality. Would recommend them always.

My uncle has a bend pak with the swing out arms. He loves it and wishes he would of realized how nice it is to have because he would have purchased one 20yrs ago. Mike
