Hi All,

Just bought a compressor/motor combo this weekend, and need to find a tank for it. I want a 60 gallon or so. Anyone know of a place that sells just the tank? Thanks for any input.

Rob

Granger has a 60 gal for a little over $400.00. its 20" dia x 53 high with a base plate on top. it's designed for 200 psi and a 5hp/2 stage pump max.

Just happened to see some at a salvage metal yard in Columbia,Ky. the first of the month. Don't remember what their price was but they were new tanks and in the 50-60 gal size, believe there was a larger vertical tank also there.
Sandusky Sales, Columbia,Ky. 270-384-4716
or Fax 270-384-9456. I go over there about twice a year and get a load of metal for projects. You can call and they will hold what you need until you arrive. AD

If you find a cheap place post it.
I have been looking and it seems that tanks are as much as cheap compressors.
There is a place called "Surplus Center" (I think), but they only had up to 20 CuF, at 125 PSI for about $110.

Ind Air in the Dallas area will sell just the tank, but I'm not sure how expensive it will be. Do you need to bolt it to the tank or run your air to it? E mail me if you want more info. Thanks, Stan
