If your heat bending tubing it is a good idea to fill the tube with sand first so it don't collapse.

Hi Michael, It will cheaper to buy a new set already made up than to build your own, but I know you got the I want too. So go to your local lawn & graden shop with a pad and pencil and take the deminsions off one you like and it will also give you the lengths to cut. For bending the nice looking curls, get a piece of 1/4" plate about 12"x12" weld a pice of 1-1/2" square tubing on the bottom side as this goes into a vise and place a 3/16"x1" sloted bolt size 3/4" in the center, then drill a series of holes at different centers away from the center bolt, in these holes make different size pipes to bend around, use 1/8" thick strap iron to make the curls from, place one end of the strap iron in the slot then bend around the pipe forms to get the proper radius. Either cold bend or heat bend around the forms, cold forming works really well. Also put a 3/4" bolt about 1/2" gap from the center bolt as this can be used for all tpyes of "off" bends or for straighting strap.

Have fun!! T_Bone
