I just purhcased some pallet racking horizontals. I have been to every pallet racking salesperson around me and no one has been able to tell me what brand the racking is. I need to know this so that I can purchase the uprights. My horizontals are 11 ft long, they are orange. The tabs on the ends are almost like the ridg-U-rac style. The only have two "teeth" on the ends. I am about at my wits end. Does anyone know of anygood identification websites? Thanks Jaker

I always buy Interlake columns with the teardrop holes. That way, if I pick up odd style beams, (I once was given 26 beams free) I can drill holes in the beam end plates and weld in grade 5 3/8x1" bolts. Make a jig to match the drilled holes to the teardrops. Of course, it's more effort to assemble/disassemble than matching beams and columns, but if you get the beams for little or nothing, its worth it. I recently bought at auction a set of two 10' columns and 8, 8' beams that use a clip to assemble. They and an 8', 5 way aluminum ladder were hidden under a pile of trash in a pickup bed. No bids on the truck, so I asked for the contents of the bed, and got it for $5. They all thought I was nuts. Keep looking-the stuff is out there.

We have racks like that and I"m pretty sure they are made by Equipto.
