I'm looking for front and rear tractor stands used to support and move the two halfs of a JD 3010 when replacing a clutch. Does anyone know where I could find something like that or do I have to make it?

I saw a setup made from two trailer toungue jacks welded to brackets on each side frame rail. You can crank em up or down as needed and equiped with casters you can roll it apart quite easily. I generaly support the rear with a floor jack. Chock the fron axle bolster so the front section won't tip sidewasy on you.

I recently found a nice 2000lb Fulton jack with wheel in a scrap bin. Now if I can only find it's mate in the next 20 years or so.....

Whoa.... I wouldn't want to support a load 30" high on a 12" base.

Jack stands are ok for one end of the tractor, but the other needs mobility. Try Cofer Sales & Mfg. in Dodge City, KS 316-227-6170. Download info and design at www.dodgecity.net/cofer
