Does anyone have good advise about having a go-cart axle made/ or know where to get one? 99.9% of all kart axles are 1" dia. I have a neighbors kart to repair that has a 3/4" dia turned to 5/8" on the ends and threaded for nuts. DOes anyone know where I might find one? There are about 200 machine shops in the yellow pages and I do not want to call all of them, most say no to 1-off jobs and others want 90$. Oh well, just though someone here might have ideas. I lurk here alot because I like garden tractors and such, so I thought that I would ask here.

I am from Ft Wayne, IN. I think I have someone who will turn one for me. But now I have another problem, that I missed the first time. The 3/4 id bearings are driven into what I'm going to call a cup? Like driven into the end of a 1/2" long pipe with part of an end. One is bad. I guess I'll have to get one made also.
thanks

The cart is a ROAD-BOSS cart. I may be able to make the 3/4" axle that was in the link work. I
would have to change the bearings in the wheels.
The axle that was on it was turned down on the ends.

I'll chack out Northern Hydraulics as well.

thanks!
