It looks like it would be quite useful in the tractor/machinery restoration field.

I'm in the process of using the POR-15 rust prevention system on my '39 JD B. (I didn't use their paint remover, I had the heavy dirt and old paint & scale that had to be taken off sandblasted off.) They have a heavy-duty degreaser that I only used a little bit of. The part I was pretty impressed with was Metal Ready, their acid prep product. The treated parts turned out much like the 'after' photo for the product you mentioned. Once wiped off, dried and coated with POR-15, it has an almost ceramic finish. I just have to do some assembly, then have it sprayed with their Tie-Coat Primer and topped with some JD Green and Yellow. It's supposed to be rust-free for life now. Time will tell.

Try electrolysis to remove rust and paint. It takes a battery charger, water, and a piece of metal to use as an electrode.

Fill your container with enough water to completely cover your rusty metal. Connect the positive wire from the battery charger to the electrode piece of metal. Place the electrode in the water and make sure the two pieces of metal do not touch. Connect the neutral wire from the battery charger to your rusty piece of metal. Turn on your battery charger and wait a couple-three days. The rusty piece of metal wil probably be black. Shut down the charger, remove the blackened metal, scrub off with a wire brush, dry, and prime/seal your metal ... looks like new.

You forgot to mention the chemical to make it work right. It leaves you with bare metal without any black on the metal. Just be sure to wash it good after then prime as soon as dry. We use it all the time here on everything from sheet metal to a stuck engine.

Haven't used that product, but if you want a very affordable organic rust removal chemical, use vinegar.
