Took the blade and clutch off. Took the oiler off, and made sure everything is clean and unplugged. (Groove in the blade too.) If I run the saw with the blade off, oil will seep out where it's suppost to, but when I put the blade back on, no oil gets to the chain. Bad bar ? Weak oiler?
It's a Craftsman, made by Poulan.

I have a MN:2150 that had the same problem. To solve it I cleaned the oil tank to get out all the debris and removed the oiler and the hose adapter that it attaches to. Then I blew pressureized air back into the oil tank. Put it all back together and it works. It may have blown the filter off the end of the pickup hose (I don't know) but it works now.

I had the same problem. The Sears service center here does not work on saws - they send them out of town. So I took it to a local saw shop. They refused to work on it. Told me the new Poulans have a bar oiling problem. Also told me they could fix it but refused to do so because it would not stay fixed. Took the saw back to Sears for a refund and got a Husky. More money but boy does it run.

Go into the oil reservoir by taking the fill cap off and fish around to see if there is a small filter located on the end of a flexible tube similar to what is in the gas tank. This could be clogged.
