Is there a good trap for eliminating 'em? I hear a harpoon trap works well after some experience. Is there a brand to look for?

Ive got mole holes all over. The way I look at it is that they are eating grubs that would ruin my garden, and are airating the soil at the same time. I think my two cats keep the population in ckeck somewhat. Did you hear this one? One Sunny summer morning papa mole stuck his head up out of the hole and said "I can smell the pancakes that the farmers wife is making" Mama mole came up beside him and said "I can smell that she is making fresh coffee"
Little sister mole came up along side and said" I can smell the toast and butter she is making" Little brother mole tried getting out the hole but it was all plugged up with his family. "Gee, all I can smell is molasses"

Feed those moles with Juicy Fruit Gum!!Just make
a hole with a stick or rod and insert a rolled
piece of gum(unchewed of course).Randomly place
around at a few feet apart.Supposely the moles are
attracted to the fragrence,whereby the gum must
shutdown the mole`s digestive system.Skeptics have
tried it and are now believers!

We got one of those little windmills that they sell in the gardening magazines. Danged if they don't work good! Has a BB inside that the spinning blade makes rattle. The vibration travels down the shaft into the ground and the moles hate it. I was real skeptical but it has kept the moles away for at least 5 year from a yard that used to look like a minefield.

If you can still buy it, the diazanon granules will help. The moles are after grubs and insects in your lawn. Also the pronged traps over the run will get some of them. My son had a dog years ago that was a mole digger. Seen my dad years ago flip them out with a spade, I never had that kind of patience.

Dig a hole in the tunnel, insert a flexable metal pipe into the hole and cover with dirt. Attach the other end to the tailpipe of a car or truck, crank the vehicle and let idle for 15 or 20 minutes and your problem will be solved.

More will come! The only sure way to eliminate moles from your yard is to use granular insect poison and eliminate the mole's fool supply.

Well, the fingers outran the mind again! I didn't have many moles until this year. I suppose the cicada's(17 year locusts) attracted them. I'll visit Sam' Club and buy a couple 20# bags of diazon again. The down side is it kills all the fishing worms and night crawlers too.

Hair,Go to the beauty shop and get some floor sweepings,open a run and put in a hand full of hair close it up and move 10ft and do it again,the hate it and will go nextdoor.
