Hey all, I am looking for sites about chainsaws. From fixing the old monsters to the newer ones. Plus also collecting them. I just have a few around here I mess with. (lost count at about 75) most don't run. They are real old. But been getting in some the newer ones to use too.
Thanks alot
Bob/wis
By the way you would never beleive how some of them are made.

Yes. I would believe how some were made. I have some photos of a large collection at Challenger's chainsaw museum at Gun Lake, British Columbia, in the coast mountains near Lilloet. This is big timber country with steep roads that will give most people grey hair and religion. He has a Russian built unit, I believe a DUSTOV, which is bizarre. I am new to this site and am having a ball.

Bob/wis; I have a big blue old Homelite and a orange one with the hollow blade style. I want to get rid of them both. Wondered if you be interested. You can find pic of blue unit on www.Ricksales.com and look under antique catergory, Rick

You will have to check out www.arboristsite.com and click on chainsaws. There are some real characters on there. I drop in from time to time to see what is going on. There is also a collectors section there as well if I remember right. Good luck!
