What have you guys had success with in terms of usability and life? We have a Milwaukee at work that I would not own myself on a bet. I normally like their tools but this one is poor. The table angle clamp adjustment is hard to use and flimsy, broke soon after we got it. I want one that has a good table for cutting angles. Anybody seen one that will cut angles by moving the cutting head like a wood power mitrebox instead of clamping the work at an angle?
Let me know what you think. Thanks?

Chris; If you do much cutting at all and is mainily in the shop then I would go with a metal cutting band saw instead. I went thru chop saws at least one a year,Makita,Blackdecker.Jepsen,etc. I finally went to a Band saw and would never go back especially if you want the angles to cut like you mention with the head of the saw to move. I have a Ellis brand dry saw. I love it, saw head moves to cut the angles, can cut up to 12" square steel. Blade I get about 2 years out of. Best move I made for steel cutting saw. No more basically burning the steel cut. Steel is hardly warm after cut also. Rick

You might want to look at the metal cutting saws that use carbide blades such as the Dewalt DW872. We use one at work and I really like it. The cut is cleaner than an abrasive blade and cooler.

More money, but less mess and fuss. Cuts cleaner and faster too.

Saw a demo... machinist clamped in a piece of cold rolled bar stock and cut perfect pieces as thin as a dime, it uses an abrasive cutting wheel that turns at only a few hundred rpm, very impressive...
