Bought a little do-dad that goes on a dremel tool to sharpen chain saws, best money i've spent lately

Those are nice however be careful, you can also mess up a chain faster if you don't use them right. My father in law got one and ruined his chains. He is elderly and can't see too good. I just use the el-cheapo oregon file and guide thingy. No power required and fits in my saw case. Dull chain means it is time to take a break anyway, 15 min later it is sharp again and I am rested.

If it's a little grinding stone with a flat metal gard on the shank, I had one. Worked OK, but I've gotten pretty good at freehanding it with just a little grinding stone about the same diameter as the file I used to use. Dremmel tool speeded that job up tremendously!

I have used the file and joint tool. It clamps to the bar and has a file in it and can be adjusted for angle. Then you just use the file that is in this tool. It works good.
